According to Solomon, there’s a time and a season for every activity under heaven. Death is part of that reality, and Christians are not immune to it. We’re also not immune to the feelings that come along with the death of a loved one. What does mourning look like for us?

After yet another contentious election, what comes next? What is our way forward? As Christians, God calls us to own our own sinfulness, and then repent of it, to demonstrate sympathy and empathy to those who are different than us, and to pray.

Don’t let the phrase “A final word” fool you. Ephesians 6:10-20 is a call to arms! We have a real enemy and we will only be able to resist, fight, and stand if we access the power of the Holy Spirit.

God’s plan for being glorified among the nations was to form for himself a people. He does this throughout history and we see this in the Bible. The necessary power for fulfilling this plan is the Holy Spirit.

Followers of Christ are called to obey our governmental authorities. We’re also called to be faithful ambassadors for God. What happens when these two ideas collide?
